Really entertaining game last night with both teams going at it. We scored three very good goals but I thought gave away two sloppy ones, the first being a copy of saturday's when we lost the ball in midfield and the second when we failed to deal with a corner. Thought Tommy was excellent and his run and cross for smiths goal was top draw, he did not have the best of games against Northampton so all credit to him for coming back so strongly. Good to get the three points even though we were a bit headless at the end. Would like to see James Carmen getting more of a run.

Annoyed I missed last night but sounded like an entertaining game and it's nice to come back after what was a disappointing defeat to a beatable team on Saturday in the cup. I actually thought Tommy and Smith were the 2 standout players from last week so it's nice to hear they combined for the winner. Hopefully, Sutton isn't too badly injured as he could be a key game player. I managed to catch a replay of the goal he created and it was similar to a situation he got himself into Saturday, only this time he released the ball to set up a tidy finish. Sounds like we're not yet the finished article but it's early days and taking 4 pts 6 is really positive It must be a good few years ago since we've been sitting as high as fourth in the league! Lance and co really have done a good job and lets hope it continues with 3 points this Saturday!
