I think the less said the better. We deserved to lose but its disappointing to lose to a team whos professionalism and tactics were probably some of the worst I have seen. Disgraceful. No wonder they have such low attendance. I don't think i'll be going to the away fixture as they are not having my money.
Lads need to repay the fans on Saturday with a win in the FA Vase because a fair few quid can be made for the club.
Finally, i don't like singling out players but i dont know why the management continue to play George Darling as for me he is lazy and adds nothing to the team. Carmen should be in the team ahead of him.

Agree with much of what you say Histonfan01 we were very poor. Their no.7 completely ran the game, made the ref look stupid through out and at being substituted late on took a long long time to depart with many smiles and handshakes (which appeared to include the ref), what was that about? Anyone know why Tommy and Ed both ended up on our left wing when we carried no threat on the right. Yes why is Carman not playing, can't expect him to do much on scraps cos he did score and put in some decent performances last year plus he appears to be one of the few that show a bit of passion every week. Oh well on we go.

Can't help but think that Rolfe needs a physical player near him. With Hayden away, why not throw Carmen into the front line of attack,

Think it was a fine line between a poor performance and a very bang average one. Actually, towards the end, we created enough chances to draw level. The absence of Hayden and Will Lawton was obvious for a start. Lawton has been solid at LB and Rolph who seemed to be playing alone up front, went missing for large parts of the game. He was missing Hayden who between them have forged a brilliant partnership already. Echoing previous sentiments, without wanting to single players out, Wrighty should have started above Darling. Against those great big heffers from Stowmarket we needed a pacey, gutsy and strong front line which Wrighty would have offered. Feel he's been unlucky with the amount of times he's started on the bench.
Second time this season the keeps has been caught out off his line. The goal wasn't entirely his fault but he needs to stick or twist in those situations. All for him bossing the box but had he stayed on his line he may have got hands to it.
Got to agree Stowmarket's sh#t house tactics were embarrassing. They were physical and well organised so there was no reason to for them to pull some of the crap they did? The ref for large parts of the game let them get away with it n all. Assistants we bloody useless too. The one on the far side didn't understand the offside rule and both didn't quite know what a foul was. First really poor officiating I've seen this season so I guess we've been relatively lucky in that regard.
On a side note I also think Tahier Ali deserves more of a chance as well. Him and Joe Sutton wreaked havoc on the Saffron Walden defence last month and given they have played together a lot for the youth team, I feel its worth having those two doubling up on the wing. I know physically they won't be the best but what they lack in that department of their game they more than make up for it with skill, speed and understanding. Big game this week. A chance to put ourselves right, get one step closer to Wembley and earn a bit of cash for the club whilst doing so.
