What are peoples thoughts. Our game against either Leeds or Northampton looks one of the most attractive ties, but will ITV or Setanta be willing to choose it if they don't know for certain who is playing. I believe the TV companies have to make a decision before the replays are decided?
In fact, there are so many replays pending it may be difficult for the TV companies to decide anything. I reckon we'll be on the telly, so I suspect the game won't be played on a Saturday.

Histon vs Leeds would definatly be at the top of the list, I think Histon vs Northampton is also one of the best ties.
They did pick Havant - Brentford and our game will be much better

lets hope its not Friday night, but it could be saturday early or sometime sunday  .....either way i'll be there anyway so not worried about the TV times! |

Agreed, we've got by far the best tie out of every other team.
We'll be on, otherwise the people at ITV really are insane!

Have to remember Leeds have already been on Setanta. Lets hope ITV pick us, 80k plus 30k for winning, keep the bank manager happy.

i think FA gate money is split isnt it?? Gate money definitely is split (minus costs). Not sure about TV money but would seem a bit unfair if it all went to one set of the "entertainers" on show. Fantastic that we're even talking about this. There is a real buzz around the village. Will hopefully get more fans up off their arses and along to the ground on Saturday.  |

Leeds or Northampton, win or loose, TV or not, the profile of Histon FC is being raised. This has to be the best money generating, profile raising event for the club (so far) and lets hope those who come can enjoy a competitive match and keep coming back.
All credit to the squad, management and directors for getting us here.
