Play - offs are being introduced from 2019/20. 7 potential extra places up for grabs between the 14 Step 5 teams who finish 2nd . There will be one knock-out game against another Step 5 runner up and then a "final" against a Step 4 3rd bottom team. This should make Step 5 a bit more interesting.

Interesting format. Still a shame promotion places are so limited but I guess it's better than nothing. Good early signs with players signing back on and the new addition from Saffron Waldon. Hopefully we can give promotion an even bigger push this coming season.

Well going by this season we will need another 30 points on top of the 83 we managed so it will be incredibly tough. It does rather feel like you fall off the edge of a cliff when you get relegated down to the county leagues as the opportunities to get back up the pyramid are so limited.

Absolutely! Although last season may well have been a one-off and with the additional 4 teams in the league, I suppose it's not surprising there were 3 teams hitting 100+. Going on the past few seasons it seems as though the amount of points needed has steadily crept up. No doubt we'll probs have to aim for a ton to stand a chance. Will be a tough ask but at least for the first time in a while, we have strong foundations to build on this time around.
