Fair point about losing players in January but with the extra revenue you will be getting over the next couple of weeks may make keeping hold of most of them a little easier.
I guess it is very difficult for a club to stand in the way of player ambition though.

I'm gussing Lanre will be looking at league 1 in the future and i wouldnt be suprised if he went up to league 2 this january.
Hopefully we can keep the squad we have until at least the end of the season and maybe add 1 or 2 players maximum but keep as many players as we can happy.

How about half of the Durham team ;D If the managers have any sense they'll keep all our players until the end of the season. As for Danyy leaving to go anywhere, I think it's unlikely. The lads great, yes, but he's now 24, and he's not even on the list on the BSP webaite for top 20 goalscorers so far this season. I personally think he'll stay at the club

Ramon Calliste at City might not be a bad shout. Doing well there - and is working his way back to full fitness.
When he was fit a few seasons ago, he was tipped for very big things.
Whether City would sell him to us is another matter!

Daryl Clare, his wages will be bigger than out whole teams. Plus hes a money maker and hes too old. I wouldnt mind Tamworth striker Nick Wright, hes only 20-21, top scorer in BSN and already had interest from Blue square premier teams and currently been called up by the England C team, I was live in a dream world Mike, please don't take me seriously

I don't think we'll lose anyone in January. However, if there was one to go, i think it would be Antonio, but someone would have to come up with a great offer (Peterborough).

I personally think Jimpson was a great acquisition and was saying from the start of the transfer window! (I remember!)
Can't wait to see more from the lad, he's only 21. If he keeps improving then he will become an even better player, but I don't think we'll lose him.
The players I'm worried about are Muzza and in particular Lanre. The guy is absolutely solid! Against Swindon he held up their top scorer (Cox) like he wasn't even anything to worry about (and to be honest he wasn't in the end). But the way he goes forward as well impresses me the most!
I actually can't believe how well he has come along since the City game in pre-season! I will admit I remember watching him and thinking what the hell were Fallon and Beck seeing in this bloke. Glad they stuck by him though! What a player... ;D
