Advertising The Council, The Puzzle

I recently contacted Histon Council concerning our long standing anoyance about the lack of property signage outside the club. The following is the reply I received from the Council.

.... no record of there ever having been an application for a sign advertising matches. Since there's never been an application we have certainly never objected. My respondant then added that he had then researched South Cambs website and found that there had not been an application certainly as far back as 1981.

I guess we would all be interested in a response from the management and if we have not made an application then lets get on and do it.

Is there anything the fans can do, or does it have to be done through the club?

Maybe some road signs off the A14?

And a sign saying 'Football Car Parking'?

I've seen a Arrow the size of a remote control(couldnt think of anything) and football parking smaller than the printing on the back of a book!!!

This is presently being investigated but is not proving to be as simple as it appears. Will keep posted with any progress if and when it happens.
