Can we raise ourselves again for the Kettering game?
They are a good side, and hopefully we won't be distracted by the FA Cup exploits.
I've a nasty feeling we could come undone - but hopefully Fall and Becky will keep the players in line.
My prediction - 1-1.

I think the confidence and desire will be there. None of the players will want to get injured though - so maybe we'll see less challenges for 50:50 balls. Hopefully, if that does happen, it won't make the difference.

I don't think there will be any question of the lads being up for it tomorrow and i would say we are in for a decent match.
One player who must certainly be chomping at the bit is surely Damien Reeves, am sure he will want a chance to make an impression and start against his old team Leeds.

Kettering have an FA cup replay next week, so hopefully their minds will be on that and not Saturdays game.
Both sides play direct high tempo games, so we might just cancel each other out. I'm not expecting a classic, but a 1-0 win will do me.

Jack Midson and Mat MK are on 4 bookings, so another booking will mean they miss the next game - see www.histonfc.co.uk/playerstats.php. But we still have 2 games after the Kettering game before Leeds/Northampton, so I guess they would not want to pick up their next booking in the game at home to Oxford. |
