James Constable turned brilliantly and was pulled back by Patrick Ada as he tried to sprint towards goal. The ref might easily have produced a red card as Constable was stopped from having a free run towards the keeper, but he merely booked the striker.
adas a striker is he?

i like the last para of that:
"It was a crushing defeat for Oxford United, but no-one should lose sight of the fact that Histon is a club on the up, have a very effective way of playing, and are nigh-on invincible at home. "

How about we delete 80% of the thread and talk about the view from Oxford...
I'll start "From where I was stood, if any team was a pub team yesterday, it was the clueless wreckage in yellow. In fact, I wish we'd had a half-decent pub team, with a bit of enthusiasm about them, to represent our once-proud club."

That was me - I am embarrassed by Oxford's current situation, but am certainly not taking anything away from Histon - good luck on Sunday.

Thanks very much No doubt Oxford will survive, it's just a case of where you end up. Mid-table for me, with a late surge at the end of the season
