It's a bit unfair on criticising Danny Naisbitt with the penalties, as if your team had played with more flair and skill they would probably have won.
Hopefully they would have learnt from City. ;D

? Why was Danny Naisbitt so c*@p??? Danny kept us in the game with several cracking saves. He's a solid keeper (even if he does support Newcastle! ) He was unlucky not to get to 2 penalties that he got his hand to. Cambridge City's penalties were excellent. Ours weren't bad - unlucky that Jack's went straight to the keeper's left.

I think from the look on Becks face after the game you wouldn't think it was a friendly. Backs and Fallon wanted that cup badly and would no way want to lose to a team 2 leagues down the pyramid.

Interesting to read in last night's matchday programme. It contained a little dig at Histon's Wikipedia article. Apparently it says something along the lines of 'Ely and Camb City are no longer Histon's rivals, Cambridge United are'.
Apart from the obvious of not taking anything on Wikipedia too seriously, what do the Cambridge city fans expect? It's great that we can play City pre-season and I do enjoy visiting their ground, even if they do shout abuse at our fans and dug-out.
They need to appreciate the reality of the situation though, that Histon have managed to get promoted to a higher league so they are bound to see Cambridge United as the team they want to concentrate on beating. (Even if United still insist on calling league team Peterborough their rivals! Reminds me of Middlesborough - desperately wanting Sunderland and Newcastle to be their rivals, when really it's Hartlepool).

Exactly. City I think will allways be rivals, but the main one is obviousely Cambridge City
