Don't forget to get down to the Glass World tonight and give your support to Ossie, Kendo and the reserves squad. KO 7.45.

CRC is a young team, that's why. None of the Cambridge first team are registered to play for them, so they're completely different from a reserve side.

I dont think any of our first teamers played.
Robbie Nightingale & Jamie Barker, but they dont play for the first team.

Ok. Just clarifying that you will not see any United first-teamers playing for CRC.

Nightingale, Barker and Oyebanjo will all be in the first team squad on Saturday - they have been so far.
Must have been a boost for "young" Nightingale's confidence to notch the goal against the U's scholars as well.

Anyone go to the game - any feedback on the young talented footballers on display?
Were their players that looked like they will be first team regulars by Christmas?
Did Russell Short play?

Adam Dalby played an amazing game. Lanre was very strong at the back. Barker & Nightingale done nothing to show why they should be in the first team. I'm not to sure who Russel short is but we had a new keeper who was average, a tall central defender that was okay and 2 black(dunno what i should call them, i might get called a racist) players upfront that were quick but poor.

Decent player - scored 3 of the 15 goals scored by non-first team players in the reserves last year. Previous Ipswich scholar, who I believe was in the first team squad for Notts County game, at least. Thought he would have something to offer this season and not sure whether he is injured or left. Also, where are Upcott and Bannister?
No comment on the 'rubbish' Cambridge youth Histonboy?

I only know a few of them and 3 of them were on par, 2 played out of position and the other played about 5 minutes.
