Just read the website which states that a former director and chairman have removed the scholars classroom and match day 1st aid building, what will be next to be removed? If deals / promises have been broken we might as well rename the stadium remove advertising if their word doesn't mean anything why should we honour agreements we made with them in good faith? Or is the board just being weak and not able to stand up to the former director and chairman. Do the board actually know what the own or what has been lent or loaned? Maybe it's time to take a inventory?
Should we buy some no more nails if we want to keep the stands, turnstiles and the police control box? What does everyone else think? Or are you not bothered?
Roll on the next fans forum !

That is just petty. Two characters out to make a point. Couldn't negotiations have been made for City to purchase these buildings? The Satchells have got loads. Then when the move to Sawston takes place they could let Histon have the buildings back at a nominal charge, as a gesture of goodwill. Or am I living in cloud cuckoo land?

I am going to tone my words down here having read these words above, and its the Christmas period of good will and all of that. But I would suggest that in the New Year, many of you need to open your eyes and make your point at the fans forums, as suggested by Doctorhiston. Don't allow 'ducking and diving' to take over as we have previously experienced. Press your point until you are satisfied. Its time we got the real answers rather than pollute our ears with their preverbal flannel.
Some people on here are so patriotic to the club that they have HFC running through their veins (in many cases I really admire this - but not in this case. I say to them, if you want a club beyond the 14/15 season, open your eyes; get to the bottom of glib club statements. In this way you will be helping to secure its future. You will also be supporting the youngsters also. Spouting supportive rubbish is no solution for longevity.
By the way I have HFC running through my veins, but it hurts me so much to see what is happening off the field.
Enjoy the rest of this Christmas period.

So what is supposedly going on behind closed doors that is so terrible ? I hope Paul if you have your suspicions and "if" like you said, you have hfc pumping through your veins, you go to the fans forum!

Doesn't take much thinking about hfc08stutes, unless you are connected with the club?

Well, if you're so worried about finances ask at the forum like I'm sure you will do. Everyone has a right to be concerned owing to last season, including myself. I'm sure the board will make another statement in the new year, regarding the current situation. But, at present I'm not going to flap about it and not going stay away just because the board haven't chirped up in a few months. Up to you how you act on it, I'd much prefer to keep turning up, enjoy the football and boost the gate, at least it's slightly more productive than staying away and posting hyped up, largely speculative claims on here as well as berating the team.

Did you see the last annual accounts posted at Company's House? I think you should investigate this before you embarrass yourself on here. I am assuming you can read a set of accounts and know the implications of the profit/loss and debtor figures on the statement? Over and Out.

You're all passionate about the Stutes. Don't fall out just because one person makes a stand in his own way, and someone else doesn't agree. Don't let this a forum get like City's. I was effectively banned simply because I didn't feel certain issues were being addressed. Apparently I was constantly negative, and they don't like alternative views on there. So after 57 years, I have started to come to Histon as regularly as time and commitments allow.

Get off your backside hfc and find out. You seem to have enough opinions to see us through 2015,even though you admit to having no clue of the published facts.

I can only find the accounts for 2013, paulriley can you post a link to the 2014 one's please? Of course the 2014's won't be great as the playing budget was slashed as there wasn't enough income coming in to pay the players and pay off outstanding debts. I am more than qualified to read financial accounts. In the Summer I swear there was an interview on the radio and it was said the debt was down to single figures and well under control.

Bit rich coming from someone who cant be arsed to turn up on match day huh? No I'm no financial expert, not in the slightest but if you are, which you are making yourself out to be and you care about hfc as you have previously stated, why don't you actively engage/help the club if you feel problems are arising/need to be addressed instead of whinging like a little girl behind the keyboard. If cant be bothered or don't want to then there's really not much point in you posting on this board anymore is there.
