We took almost as many to Mansfield as you got at home tonight...
Also, my attendance or non-attendance hardly reflects on the fanbase as a whole, but nice try.
I said, though I knew you would not listen, that my comment re: attendance was not fishing, I really am surprised that with Histon in their highest ever position, and above Cambridge, they get less than 600 fans.
Surely the club must be having this debate amongst themselves in seriousness, it shouldn't just be the topic of banter on forums - the clubs aspirations to attain and maintain league football will not be realised or even faesible if attendances like that persist.
By the way, our attendance's actually went back up 25% last season after a few years of falling, and in any case: our attendances are not a worry, they are sufficient for league football...I just hope the team is.

Subtract phantom season ticket holders, and do the sums properly (100+100 x 8 = 1,600) and you'll find that it doesn't work out.

This argument about attendances is nothing to do with the match against Lewes. The fact is that we conceded a soft goal in the second minute and then spent the next 88, against a dreadful team, trying to sort it out! We were so bad that, if I wasn't a season ticket holder, I would think twice about going next time. Whatever league we are in and whoever has gone out on the pitch for Histon, over the last ten years we have always struggled against teams near the bottom of the league. Do you remember Carshalton, Team Bath and Gloucester?  |

I remember the home tie, i was so depressed, we were on like 5-6 game losing run though, including Cambridge city:(
